I am more of a "bio" guy. Give me a book and a stack of note cards and I'll get an A on everything. But what I am asking is Phsyics can't really be studied with note cards from a book. I am having trouble remembering what equations to use where

especially with coefficient of friction and tension problems

the equations are mathematical models; so in order to have a good mind for physics youd have to be able to understand how to convert your observations into a decent mathematical model. Or so ive been led to believe

my elementary statistics class was a bother for me since its just memorizing a bunch of formulas. The mathematical proofs required for the course were beyond the scope of the class to comprehend so we just had to try to go off of intuition and such
