add. simplify if possible 2/15x+2/15x 4/30x? simplified to 2/15x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/15x the denominator stays the same. just add. it's like 3/4+6/4=9/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok becuase on my sheet 2/15x is not an answer, only 4/30x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 4/15x an answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i added the denominator to get 30, but it needs to stay the same, just to clarify though, 14/9x^2 + 7/9x^2, would be 21/9x^2, reduced to 7/3x^2?

yeeah. goodjob!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
