OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the slope on one line in a system of linear equations is 2 and the slope of the second line in the system is 3, how many solutions does the system have?

OpenStudy (chriss):

There will be one solution. Different slopes means the lines are not parallel and will only have one point of intersection which will occur at the solution for that linear system.
