Find the given term of each arithmetic sequence. 1/4,3/4,5/4,7/4,...;15th term

To do that all you need to do is find the equation. Realize that the numerator changes by 2 each number and the denominator stays the same. So think of a function that changes by 2 (in the numerator) each whole number. To find the 15th term, just plug 15 into that equation.

so the equation is : an=a1+(n-1)d and where would i plug in 15 and the other numbers

I'm a little bit confused with the an al and the d, what do they represent? Your equation should looks something like y=(numerator right side equation/denominator right side equation)
