I dont understand functions and linear and nonliners can anyone help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If a function is a linear, we can show this function ax + b . İf a function is nonlinear, this fuction is a curve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

linear means the function is a line, and we can use the equation y = mx + b, where m is a constant. nonlinear means the function is a curve of some sort, and contains an exponent somewhere in its equation. for example: \[y = x ^{2}\]. hope this helped!
