OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a relatively ancient book.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Amazon has the latest revised edition. I've had this book a long time and it's great. http://www.amazon.com/How-Solve-Aspect-Mathematical-Method/dp/4871878309/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320877338&sr=1-2

to add, I recommend the Polya book, even though it first came out in 1945 (yes, ancient), for algorithmic thinking. Nothing about computers in it, just how to think about problems.
