OpenStudy (trancenova):

Could someone tell me how Eadie–Hofstee presentation relates to michaelis-menton kinetics? Bit confused... Cheerio!

OpenStudy (frostbite):

Michaelis–Menten enzyme kinetics, have one weakness. If it is shown in a graf it will be a nonlinear regression line. Therefore, by rewriteing Michaelis-Menten equation, we can make a plot that is linear. Becuase of the linear equation can we easily with mathematics determine the importent constants: KM and Vmax. BUT if we use MM enzyme kinetics i would personaly do a Lineweaver-Burk plot insted.

OpenStudy (frostbite):

The Eadie–Hofstee just become a rewriteing of the Michaelis-Menten equation :)

Oh! Thanks :) Makes alot more sense with the equation :)
