calculate the density of a rectangular piece of wood from the following data: Length: 25 cm Width: 10cm Height: 4 cm Mass: 15g @Biology

OpenStudy (wasiqss):

multiply length, width, height to get volume and then apply formula mass/volume

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume = 25*10*4 cm^3 Mass = 15g Density is mass by volume (m/v). Now the SI unit is kg/m^3, but g/cm^3 is also acceptable.
