x-6/x+4 - x+9/x-4
x=-12/23
I guess you assumed the negative sign meant =
I don't think we're supposed to solve for x
\[(\frac{x-6}{x+4} \times \frac{x-4}{x-4}) - (\frac{x+9}{x-4} \times \frac{x+4}{x+4})\]\[=\frac{(x-6)(x-4) - (x+9)(x+4)}{(x-4)(x+4)}\]\[=\frac{x^2-10x+24 - (x^2+13x+36)}{(x+4)(x-4)}\]
\[=\frac{-23x-12}{(x+4)(x-4)}\]
That was right. Can I ask you another one?
mm..ok:)
x-2/x+8 - x+7/x-8
I was trying to take a shortcut but it didn't work
Thanks for trying. I have about 10 I am stumped on.
This next one you posted you can use the same format Lana used to solve it. The steps are the same.
I had 100 problems and only 10 really got me stumped.. not bad I guess
100 is quite a lot
yeah its the same.. try to do it and check ur answer here,
lalalalalalalalalalalady Oops sorry. My keyboard got away from me.
haha lana was ok :D
-7x+1/(X+4)(x-4)?
where did the 4 come from? (x-8)(x+8)
