Find the surface area of a Square Pyramid. b=5 s= 11 My equation: SA = 2bs + b^2 = 2 (6x11) + 6^2 = 132 + 36 = 158 .. did I do that correctly ?is my answer right? Your wrote b=5 but in the problem you have b=6, which one is correct? And I think that the answer would be wrong because you don't have the height of the triangle. You have the base and the side but the side and the height aren't the same thing. At least that's how I'm seeing it. Do you see what I'm trying to say? (according to the picture)
b=6
its a square pyramid
yea what I drew is a square pyramid...did u mean a square prism instead then?
if it's a prism then you don't have to worry about the height that I mentioned above.
Maybe this will help. It is the process of how I did it.
