whats your question
how did asians migrate to the americas during ice age?
by foot
did they? how do we know?
footprints
still? wow, good permanent inks!
they were wearing uggs
btw in ice age, were there ships?
-__-
from the "land bridge" created by huge 2 mile long glaciers that connected Asia and Norht America
The ice age caused the area between Russia and Alaska to freeze into ice that people could walk on but the Asian hunters also followed the bison to the Americas for food
yes they had ships in the ice age. they had ice ships.
they must have good heaters those days.. they walked alot.
what major factors encouraged european exploration in the 1400's & 1500's
the ships ran out of ice, so they had so stop in europe to fill up.
Yea, good point.
The rise of towns and trade along with the Crusades,Medieval religious fervor, and Europe’s geographic position
satellite! Quick question, hehe! is infinity*infinity indeterminant? Sorry!
fortunately the hotels had ice machines down the hall. and little plastic buckets to use as well. almost caused a riot when they stole the towels though
wsm209 to answer your question- The four major factors that encouraged European exploration during the 1400s-1500s were that their ships had improved by making smaller boats and they went faster. Also, they started using triangular sails to change the wind current. Later on they discovered the compass and astrolabes to navigate through the Atlantic. Later on, Claudius Ptolemaeus had mapped out the world. That really encouraged the Europeans to set sail.
oh no \[\infty^{\infty}=\infty\]
and also \[\infty \times \infty =\infty\]
\[\Huge \infty \huge \infty \Large \infty \large \infty \tiny \infty\]
\[\Huge \infty \huge \infty \Large \infty \large \infty \tiny \infty=\Huge 8\]
Also, regarding the question. I don't think they had sophisticated enough ships during that time that could travel from what we know as asia to North America. They definitely just trecked across the ice bridge that formed between Alaska and Russia like crzymom said.
they didn't need ships. they had rockets
And uggs!
Ice Rockets man!
ice ice baby rocket man!
why were europeans searrching for sea route to asia
they needed more sardines. also anchovies.
Europeans had more ships.. so they thought to move there.
Because traveling by sea is more efficient than walking across two continents. They didn't know North America existed. They thought if they just went west they would end up in Asia.
Europeans wanted to make stories like Titanic?
wsm 209 answer to your question - They wanted to have a more efficient trade route to the region so that they could get more spices and silks. spices and silks.
better cell phone reception as well. more bars in more places
So that it can be a blockbuster?
More efficient route to Asia = more trade = more money = MORE UGGS!
spice spice baby.
icy spicy rocket babies.
why were the spanich able to defeat the aztec & incas
1. Hospitality. One thing that is rarely mention, but yet it's very obvious. Both empires allowed the Spanish enter their city and were given food, gifts, & a place to stay. With this, the Spanish could conquer from the inside. 2. Disease. Small pox was never in the Americas. Since the natives didn't have an immunity built within their immune system, they were infected. 3. Spaniards had allies. Both in the conquest of the Mexica (or as you called them Aztec) and Inca, the Spanish had help from rival tribes which had armies bigger than what the Spanish had. 4. Different battle tactics. While the Spanish focused on long term battles, the two great empires focused on short term battles. I don't weapons (armor, guns, cannons, horses & war dogs) from the Spanish were a big factor mainly bc they brought very little of them to the Americas.
