solve by completing the square x^2-18=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think this can be solved by completing the square... not totally sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there has to be a way of solving this to get a solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im still working it for you

OpenStudy (mertsj):

There is. Add 18 to both sides. Get x^2 = 28. Take the square root of both sides and get that x = +/- sqrt28. or +/- 2sqrt7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=2sqrt 7, -2sqrt 7
