cot(x) = cos(x)/sin(x) ... were gunna see an asymptote when sin(x) equals 0.... when does sin x equal 0?
sinx = 0 at 0, pi, 2pi, 3pi, 4pi, 5pi.... and also at -pi, -2pi, -3pi, -4pi .....
so now all you need to do is figure out what values you need to sub in to make sinx 0
