Part 1: Explain, in complete sentences, how you would use the graphing method to solve the following system of equations. Part 2: Provide the solution to the system. Part 3: Explain what the solution represents on the graph. x + 4y = –16 3x + 2y = 12 Part 1: Explain, in complete sentences, how you would use the graphing method to solve the following system of equations. you have a lot of questions =]
First, I would solve both equations for y: y = (-16 - x)/4 y = (12 - 3x)/2 Then, I would break out a calculator and enter each equation Lastly, the calculator would give me the point where the two graphs intersect: (8,-6)
lol, i know. i do the ones i can then post the ones i can't do on here. i suckkkk at math. (:
You have a lot of problems you don't know how to solve
yeah, cause i suck at math.
You don't have to
don't have to what?
Suck at math
it's not like i try, it just comes naturally to me.
By the way, I provided a solution above.
Sucking at math isn't something I consider 'natural'.
I guess my solution wasn't good enough
it's natural for me. i'm a hands on kinda person, &i do online schooling. so it doesn't help me any.
You can do math with your hands. That option is available to you. 10 fingers, pencils, paper, finger tips for punching calculator keys and flipping through pages in a math book or clicking your mouse.
but when someone's explaining it in person i understand it more, rather than just reading text books or computer stuff.
8 fingers, 2 thumbs rather
I can explain it to you
not having a teacher does sort of suck. One idea i have is a guy that does videos for math, PatrickJMT. I find his videos very explanatory like a teacher. You can find his videos either on youtube (search for patrickjmt) or you can go to his site www.PatrickJMT.com
