Factor the polynomial 8x^3 + y^3

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

8x^3 + y^3 (2x)^3 + y^3 (2x+y)((2x)^2-(2x)(y)+y^2) ... Use the sum of cubes formula here (2x+y)(4x^2-2xy+y^2) So 8x^3 + y^3 factors to (2x+y)(4x^2-2xy+y^2)

Miss miley!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2x+y)(4x^2-2xy +y^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Miley?.....I hope not lol

hero (hero):

Sigh. You're still trying to call her Miley Cyrus. Moneybird, I think you have toxic eyes. Shannon looks way better than Miley. It's not even close.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hero (hero):

Oops. I mean Fool For Math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hero (hero):

But you don't mind referring to her as Miley

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was supposed to be a compliment :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, well thanks haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shannon you like your prom queen or like that ?

hero (hero):

It's better to just compliment a girl rather than compare her to another girl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
