How do I come up with comparative essay topics? What do I need to do? A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, and The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls.

First of all, I love the book, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn! In a comparative essay you will need to compare the two books. The similarities and differences. Look at the characters, plot, time line, writing style etc. Just like any other essay, you'll need to open with a thesis; support that thesis in the body of the paper, and close with conclusion. I hope you do well!
