Draw each graph in the xy-plane. 2x-3y=-12

OpenStudy (chriss):

Solve for y, then you can plug in some random x values to compute your y values to get a few points... since it will be a line, you only need two points...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 2x/3+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the graph of 2x-3y=12 is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be like this y|0|1|2|3| ------------------- x|-8|6|4|2| then graph?

OpenStudy (chriss):

If you plug 3 into (2x/3)+4 you get 6. If you plug in 6 you get 8.

OpenStudy (chriss):

so two of your points would be (3,6) and (6,8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh damn I was doing a completely different problem! from this one my apologizes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y(0)(2)(4) ---------------- x(6)(9)(12)
