You can use the tan reduction formula: http://www.ramapodesign.com/Bruce/math/math.cfm?f=tanPower.html You do it twice and you will be only left with integral tanx

Thanks for linking to the ramapodesign.com page... it's mine. I had to change the domain because of a site hosting problem. The new domain is integraltec.com and the folder "/bruce" is no longer used ... the tanPower page is at http://www.integraltec.com/math/math.cfm?f=tanPower.html

The site at http://www.integraltec.com/math/math.cfm?f=tanPower.html had to be moved again; it's now http://www.integraltec.com/math/math.php?f=tanPower.html
