Solve the equation by finding square roots. 3x^2=21 a.7 squared b.7squared,-7squared c.-21squared/3,21squared/3 d.-7squared,21squared.

OpenStudy (agreene):

I don't entirely understand what it's asking with those answers, but \[x=\pm\sqrt7\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be B im guessing

OpenStudy (agreene):

well, b says \[7^2, -7^2\] which is the opposite of what x equals O_o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then A??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait wouldnt it be c. since those numbers divided would equael +-7

OpenStudy (agreene):

It's probably B. They just worded it wrong, i'd bet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok Thank you
