I'm having some trouble understanding exactly how the right-hand rule works. More specifically, in the case of something like ILxB where I and B both sort of curve around. If one or both quantities are straight, I can figure it out, but how does it work if both are curved?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It only works at a particular point, and you use the tangent to your curves at that point.

Hmm... I was worried that might be the case. I guess it's more a a problem of understanding particular questions. Thanks!
