x = -1 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i got, it just seems too simple and its freaking me out a little. Idk i am a biochem major but probably the worst one at math i have ever met

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just looked at it again and got 1

OpenStudy (lilg132):

is that the answer i dont know how you got that but i got -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know, i feel like my math teacher is just messing with us at this point. i set the denominatiors equal to x+1 then put then did 3 - 2 basically, idk im trying some goofy things because we were doing like integrals and then he was just like here, do this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its okay i figured it out, x= -1 was right, there was really no other way to go about doing that

OpenStudy (lilg132):

oh ok :) i was itching my head there for a second too lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah i think my teacher was just messing with our heads, hes got a real sense of humor and likes to make us paranoid and go crazy trying to figure out simple things
