There are two groups, the people that believe AI exists and the ones that dont...i am from the second group.

Designing features that account for varied motives and yet achieve desired result of "learning" and "teaching" is really a key for such a site. Designing such features is not easy, but can be done.

This site's purpose fits that definition. I can say the site fails miserably at it. But, can be modified / enhanced to achieve that objective.

Most recently, I was involved with helping develop technology that identified malicious websites using algorithmic learning techniques. The output was then used to protect people on the Internet from visiting such sites. That is an AI system in my view.

Now, one can argue that the algorithm itself is human developed and fed into the system and therefore no intelligence is inherent in that system. Hmmm....!
