Solve for matrix equation x. x[-1,0,1;1,1,0;3,1,-1] = [1,2,0;-5,1,7]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not quite positive, but can't you solve for x by multiplying both sides by the inverse of [-1,0,1;1,1,0;3,1,-1] on the right side?

Ah, the question has been bothering me for quite a while... Thanks!
