Why are lysosomes found mostly in phagocytic cells? @Biology

OpenStudy (liliakarina):

Because lysosomes are special digestive systems. Phagocites are in charge to 'eat' pathogens in order to avoid infections; therefore, they need an efficient digestive system so these strange particles can be destroyed.
