Is this mathematics? A. The “Port Huron Statement” was written by Tom Hayden of the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) in the early 1960's. The name comes from the location of its authorship. The two major points of the manifesto were the degradation of black americans in the south, and the distraction of and dangers of the cold war.
