is there an open API for OpenStudy?
shadowfiend will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there is.
sorry, not currently. although one may be well along its way, there's no telling when we'll make it available publicly. were you hoping to make something with it?
Maybe! We work with two major universities in the Netherlands and this might be a helpful tool.
Shoot me an email at antonio DOT salazar AT openstudy.com and tell me what kind of API would be useful to you. It's in the game plan eventually, but there's a lot of stuff we need to do first. Still, it'll be handy to know what people would like out of an API before we build it :)
Is an API still in the works? I'd really love to see streaming questions, and filter by questions that haven't had any answer in over an hour, etc.
It's still "in the works", but we honestly haven't touched it in a spell. We've been focused on bringing functionality to the actual site for the time being.
Do you share your URL naming scheme and things like that? If so, I could take a shot at creating an API (I'm really bored)
Found this with teh googlez, and I'm also interested in an API for OS. Apparently there is one, but @dumbsearch2 is keeping its location "secret". -.-
I've found something about an api or something along those lines, but it's written in python, which I have no idea how to use. Here's a link, just in case you're still active: http://plone.org/products/products.openstudy
