Well, I would do the first one...and do a play on words...using chemistry to describe a date...where you feel "chemistry" for the other person. Then use chemistry terms to describe the experience.

I agree with Jhouser, the first one seems perfect to expand on with great detail along with scientific terms relating to Chem.

I like lost in the periodic table.  Consider doing something like Alice in Wonderland.  Or make it science fiction.
