what's the difference between a and b? however, the umblical cord is filled with embryonal blood as it connects the heart of the embryo to the placenta.

yes I am. how else would you explain that AIDS only get transmitted between mother and child through birth!? the two bloodcycles are strictly separated

well i m going on wid u becoz as i dunno the ans but acc. to me i think it is c becoz in blood circulation it also goes through foetus

no it doesn't. believe me. :-) there is an exchange inside the placenta in oxygen saturation between the two blood cycles, but blood never gets mixed. I asked my brother about it, he's a doctor

ok.. one more question we studied that deO2 blood always flow in foetal body so y there is no effect in foetus

how do you mean that? the embyro will receive oxygenated blood from the placenta, use the oxygen and transfer deoxygenated blood back to the placenta. the foetus is even more metabolically active than its mom, compared by weight to oxygen need

hmm... well we were taught that in foetal there iss no formation of lung and nd other organ so DeO2 blood flows from it till the lungs and organ system dont get formed but still when it is in embryonical stage it will be reamain non funtion .. so al the time deO2 blood flows
