How does a linear function differ from an exponential function? Also, how does a logarithmic function differ from an exponential function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

linear function doesn't increase or decrease drastically but exponential function increases/decreases drastically while logarithmic funtions and exponential funcitons are invere of each other

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

are inverse yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jhonyy yeah

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so the linear function haven't term with exponent and has like graph one line when one exponential function has term or terms with exponent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly but its not necessary that its graph is just a line i can be even a graph of y=|x|
