The main sugar in plants are ....... man I should know this! I got an A in Ecology! Starch?

I guessed xylose, and Wikipedia tells me I'm right. It also tells me that xylo is actually the Greek word for wood (remember that xylem is often woody) -- that should make it easier to remember!
