OpenStudy (moongazer):

if tan B = -3/4 is in quadrant 2 is x=-3 and y=4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, its x= -3x and y=4x where x is a proportionality constant........and final answers whether you keep x or not , comes same as trigonometry deals with ratios only..

OpenStudy (moongazer):

isnt it that tan=y/x ???

OpenStudy (moongazer):

so y=3 and x=-4?
