OpenStudy (anonymous):

Once a body is in motion, it naturally continues in a variable line unless it is influenced by some force. True False

OpenStudy (fretje):

what is a variable line? If a variable line means a not straight or not geodetic line, than you should answer False. Why? If force(s) act on a body, the travelled distance per time unit is not constant (one of those newton laws) and the "line" will be variable. The body will accelerate. If on the other hand no forces are acting on that body in motion, the line will be not variable but straight or constant.
