can someone help me how to rearrange equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like: p= w/t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& solve for w & t.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

w= p*t t=w/p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Firstly u'll need to hv two equations in order get w and t. say, if u hv to find w using p=w/t, then finally u shld have an eqn of the form w = something. So multiply t on both sides which will get u t*p = w. A simpler way is to just shift the variables onto the other side if the equal sign. if u shift a variable to the other side then the operation changes, addition becomes subtration and multiplication becomes division and vice versa.
