how do you graph x+y=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put it in slope intercept form. y=mx=b? you know m=-1 so y=-1x+1... so up one to the left one starting at 1. or down one to the right one, starting at one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*y=mx+b

how do you know m = -1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because m is the number before x, so if its -x its -1x
