Can anyone graph this for me? y=2x-1 and y=-x+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hm how do you get that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me correct that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but ill explain first if you want. -1 is the y intercept. 2x is the slope (how much you'll rise and run). So for the first one, you graph -1 on the y axis. from that point, you go 2 up, to the right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is for the first one yes?^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the second equation, the y intercept is 4, so you would graph 4 on the y-axis. The slope is -1, so you would go down 1, to the right one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill graph it better hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay
