i know this is math, but did anybody watch Hotel Rwanda? and remembers i it?(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did, and I loved it. Makes me cry every time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same here:( do you think you could help me answer some questions? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. What do you think UN Colonel Oliver means when he says, "we are peace-keepers, not peace-makers"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2. Why does the UN withdraw its forces and the non-Rwandan inhabitants?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. It means they can't get the people to stop fighting. If people are calm, they can keep them calm. They keep peace, not settle fights. 2. Its a country's responsibility to protect its citizens. Americans were there, and there was danger, so USA (or whatever other countries there were) came to save them. There was too much fighting, it was too dangerous, it was time to save themselves.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and last question: How is it possible that most of the people did not know what was happening in Rwanda? What can we make today to be more aware of the tragic situations around the world?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& thank you! :)
