OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\[20 \sin^4(4 x) \cos(4 x)\]

could you show work please?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

blues is showing..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (blues):

Chain rule. f ' (x) = 5cos(4x) * 4x

OpenStudy (blues):

It should be 5cos(4x) ^ 4 * 4x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shouldnt the last part just be 4?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

it will be 20. sin(4x)^5 5 sin(4x)^4 * 4cos(4x) 20 sin(4x)^4 * sin(4x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks
