OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

the most simple way to find the solution to this problem is to find x in terms of y and swap them to get your fnction

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

so we have waht hero did already so we r done :)

hero (hero):

y = f(x), therefore: y = (8x+3)/5 5y = 8x+3 5y-3 = 8x (5y-3)/8 = x (5x-3)/8 = y f^-(x) = (5x-3)/8

Made a slight mistake, but corrected it
