@Mathemathics what is the equivalent of 3 quarts per second in gallons per hour? sovle -9_< -2x +3_<1 a. 3_> x_> -1 b.6_x_>1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 qt/ sec to gal/hour to get seconds to hours you multiply by 3600sec/hour to go from qt to gal multiply by 1gal/4qts (3 qt/sec) * (3600sec/hour) * (1gal/4qts) = 2700 gal/hour

what about sovle -9_< -2x +3_<1 a. 3_> x_> -1 b.6_<x_< 1 c.3_<x_<-1 d. 6_>x_>1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-9 ≤ -2x +3 ≤ 1 subtract 3 from everything: -12 ≤ -2x ≤ -2 divide by -2 (and flip signs) 6 ≥ x ≥ 1 so I would say d

thanks so much
