wind energy capturing - needs moving parts so wears + and is an environment friendly way of making electricity
fuel cells - need nanotechnology which is quite polluting and expensive + but the cells can provide electricity where no other sources are available
biomass - involves much soil surface + but is a sustainable way of producing energy of a whole range of types (electricity, heat, oil for heat engines)
geothermal - involves expensive drilling or is not everywhere advised + but is a very stable source of heat, even in small scale plants (for one house)
