solve by substitution x+4y=2 -6x+5y=-12 (3,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait did you type that out right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i think it is no solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But what is the (3, 2) for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer i got when i first worked it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, wasn't clear on that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's cool, um for y im getting 0, and x is 2 y = 0 x = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah (0,2) is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whaty about (2,0), (o,2) isn't an answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6(2-4y) -5y = 12 12 - 24y - 5y = 12 y = 0 x = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL i meant (2,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer is (2,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had the answer before just I put it in the wrong areas of (x, y)
