Find the LCM of z^2-49 and z^2+16z+63

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Ok then, check it out: The LCM is going to contain one copy of each DIFFERENT factor multiplied together z^2-49= factor 1:(z-7) factor2:(z+7) z^2+16x+63= factor 3:(z+9) factor 4:(z+7) notice that factor 2 and 4 are the same, so we can ignore one copy, that leaves factors 1,2, and 3: (z-7)(z+7)(z+9) multiply it out to get your simplified answer.
