OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

Can anyone help me with my geometry project

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

I gotta take pictures of real life geomtry shapes like a real object that looks like a cylinder

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

Heres all the stuff i gotta find 1 set of parallel lines, 2 spheres, 2 cylinders, 2 prisms, 1 pyramid, 1 cone, 2 triangles, 2 rectangles, 2 squares, 1 obtuse angle, and 1 acute angle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

turn off pc and look around

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one are you struggling?

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

the parallel lines

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look up, if your ceiling has right angles (90 degree) than surely there will be parallel lines

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

um ok i don't see any parallel lines only perpendicular....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

surely there must be some like that. or check your PC, opposite sides are most likely parallel

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

ok i got one any tips for a pyramid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think I have anything in my room that looks like a pyramid. But I have pyramid shaped tea bags in my kitchen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or you can search for buildings that are pyramid shaped. Like the pyramids in Egypt or like the Louvre in France.

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

ok i couldnt find any pyramids in my house

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tell them that the Louvre is pyramid shaped, your teacher might be impressed :-)

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

whats that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a museum in Paris, really fancy one

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

i gotta take my own pics sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that wont work :-) Maybe you have candles
