OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, because I just need help answering some of the questions. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay shoot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What seems to start genocide? Is the political and historical background handled by the film adequately?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm..I think when on the radio in the movie when they said that the president died when he was on the plane and it was shot down. Then the Hutu's began taking over and killing Tutsi's.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! & Explain the UN Colonel's disturbing comments on the UN's decision not intervene. What do you think he means when he tells Paul, "you're not even a ni**er"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When he paul said that i think he meant because he's not even sticking up for his country. I don't really know on this one,but i think thts correct. The UN, and countries were not helpful because they simply didnt care.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!!:) I got 4 more questions. Do you think you have time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm... shoot.lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7. Recall the convoy of Rwandans who have obtained visas to leave. What are your thoughts on the conflict between Tatiana & Paul after he decides to stay? Place yourself in one of the two characters’ position. What are they feeling during this scene? Why? Is there on person who is more “correct” than the other? Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh i dnt remeber those parts in the movie i think on was on stuff when i watched those prts. sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okayy, and 10. In general, are Rwandans represented by the film? Rwanda itself? Compare these representations with how WWII-era Germans were portrayed in the documentaries, readings, etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk tht question either sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok && 11. Rwanda was widely considered the most :Christian country: in Africa. Close to 90% of Rwanda claimed to be Christians. How do you account for the genocide which occurred in light of this information?
