Where are most photosynthetic cells in plants found?

Cells of the centre of the leaf, mesophyll, contain most part of chloroplasts, which are the organelles in charge of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is the pigment that absorbs light energy amd transforms it into chemical energy.
