so we just want to construct a scalene triangle with no specific lengths right.

Number 1 you keep the pointer at point q take a random radius and mark an arc on the line xy.

Number2 you keep the pointer at the same place change the radius and make another arc this time not on the line xy but anywhere on the plane

Number 3 you take the pointer on the point where the arc meets line xy change the radius once again and make an arc to meet the second arc.

You use a scale and a pencil to join all the three points
