anyone there? please help me to understand entropy and 2nd law of thermodynamics

The second law of thermodynamics basically states that the entropy of the universe is always increasing. In other words, the universe is always becoming more disordered and chaotic. Even in processes that appear to make order (e.g. cleaning a messy room), there must be a greater amount of disorder occurring in another part of the system (e.g. the energy you're expending to clean up the room).
