PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS ONE :) On the decibel scale, the loudness of a sound, in decibals, is given by D = 10log I/I0 where I is the intensity of a sound barely audible to the human ear. If the intensity of a sound is 1011I0, what is its loudness in decibels?

what is this number?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

101110 ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like this in his document.... 1011 I0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it is not clear is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my first guess would be to divide by 10 then take the log, then move the decimal over one place.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok... i'm confused by it, haha but thank you

101110
