when 2 elements combine to form carbon dioxide?
Can you reword your question?
Reframe the question please
when 2 elements mix together to create carbon dioxide?
what is it called?
are u in search of the 2 elements that form carbon dioxide or you're searching for the process of formation of carbon dioxide?
the 2 elements that form carbon dio.
carbon and oxygen
by the way though, you should have asked it this way... "what 2 elements ...." and not "when 2 elements ..." :)
well my booklet said when
ummm did you ask the question just as the booklet asked it or you asked part of it? cos if the booklet is asking for when... it is either a typographical error or something is obviously missing... :/
you'd notice the first 2 answers on this page ask you to reword or reframe your question
Also, the name gives it away: carbon dioxide - carbon - and oxide = oxygen. The di means two. Carbon dioxide is \( CO_2 \). One atom of carbon, two atoms of oxygen.
If for example you have a compound called sulfur dioxide, then it is made of -- you guess it -- sulfur and oxygen.
C+O2 = CO2
