Find the perimeter of the rectangle in simplest form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (lilg132):

length + length + width + width = perimeter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2L+2W=perimeter

OpenStudy (lilg132):

\[2\sqrt{6} + 2\sqrt{6} = 4\sqrt{6}\] you just add the two numbers outside of the \[\sqrt{}\] so that is the width

OpenStudy (hoblos):

\[8+6\sqrt{?}\]

OpenStudy (lilg132):

\[answer is 8+6\sqrt{6}\]

OpenStudy (lilg132):

length * 2 = \[8 + 2\sqrt{6}\]

OpenStudy (lilg132):

then you just add that with the answer for width so you get \[4\sqrt{6}\] + \[8+2\sqrt{6}\] and you just add it to the number before the \[\sqrt{}\] so thats how you get the answer
